Padmavati Movie – सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने खारिज की याचिका, पद्मावती पर बैन से इनकार
Padmavati Movie – Supreme Court dismisses petition, Padmavati denies ban on
The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed the petition for the ban on the release of controversial film ‘Padmavati’ and said that it is immature and that it will be like investigating the matter beforehand. Chief Justice Justice Deepak Mishra made this comment when he was told that the film has not yet been approved by the Central Board of Film Certification. The court said in its order, “Padmavati has not been certified by CBFC yet. Our intervention in this case will be equal before the investigation of this case. We do not intend to do this.
The court gave this order on a petition by lawyer M. M. Sharma to prohibit the offending scene from the film until it is removed. Sharma had also demanded to file criminal cases against film director Bhansali. Let’s say, the problems of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Padmavati are increasing. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that even if the censor board passes the film, it will not be released in the state even though his counterpart Amarinder Singh of Punjab has endorsed Rajput objections. Chouhan has announced in a program in Bhopal that ‘history has been tampered with in the film’ and it will not be allowed to be released in the state. At the same time, the Chief Minister of Punjab said that opposing the film is the right of the Rajput community because it is tampered with historical facts, which nobody will accept.
