Reply Talks-like-yoda50 November 18, 2017 Lol the ss is done for. A 10mm and a armored vault suit? RIP Reply Nicky_and_Skittles November 18, 2017 I haven’t encountered this place on my first playthrough difficulty (very hard) Needless to say, I shat my pants when I discovered it on Survival. No way to save game if no beds are present and first rule of thumb of Survival is that deathclaws are a big, fat no-no Reply imhereforsiegememes November 18, 2017 This is a perfect depiction of all of my experiences in that building. Reply stagehand_account November 18, 2017 I first found the Museum of Witchcraft at a stupidly low level, I think it was the first deathclaw I ran into and way before I got to Diamond City. I think I ended up having to slowly sneak crit it to death over the course of about 20 minutes. Reply doodruid November 18, 2017 give that scary momma back her eggs. Reply Wicked594 November 18, 2017 This is fucking awesome Reply kittenshitter5000 November 18, 2017 Holy shit this moment in VR…. Reply sergalahadabeer November 18, 2017 If you go upstairs and simply remain near that door at the top, you can duck in and out of there in total safety, the deathclaw is too big to follow I guess. Reply zombiestacos November 18, 2017 My first time there I was just wandering along looking around. I get upstairs and immediately sprint back down and out the door. Reply MiscalculatedRisk November 18, 2017 I found this place on accident and just went inside in my first playthrough with no hesitation. After about the first 2 instances of the roof shaking and the growling and bodies falling I hesitated out of the basement, back to sanctuary, and decided that maybe Preston wasn’t quite so annoying. Reply pm_me_ur_swimsuit_ November 18, 2017 I like the detail Reply CrabDragoon November 18, 2017 I told this story before but it was my favorite part of the game. I finished up in the museum, went outside and [Its the end of the world](https://youtu.be/NdN7CzbkfTE?t=1h29m50s) was playing and a rad storm was happening so it was all dark and foggy outside. I was making my way to the next part of the quest and was seeing deathclaws on the ridges around me. I swore this was some part of the game that was supposed to happen after you leave but later found out when I redid it that this was all just random occurrences and it made the mood so much more creepy Reply lemonylol November 18, 2017 I was disappointed in Fallout 4 but this sidequest was pretty awesome. Reply Nop277 November 18, 2017 I need to go back and play that game again, I get so distracted with everything and mods I feel whenever I play a Fallout or TES game I only go through like 30-40% of the content Reply TheRealNightfire November 18, 2017 When I hear a Nope around the corner, I’m fuckin’ out of there. Reply Powdered_Donut November 18, 2017 Falllllllllllout 4 Reply jquiz1852 November 18, 2017 Why is Bruce Campbell in future Boston? Reply Shy_Poke November 18, 2017 Whoa that amps the fear factor waaaaay up. Nice job. Reply ExtraMegaDoge November 18, 2017 I rocket launchered the shit out of that deathclaw, then left a trail of mines for her to step on as she chased me. Reply MLGTheForkOnTheLeft November 18, 2017 This brings back soOo much anxiety of not getting wrecked by that bastard lol. P.s. this is such lovely art. To who ever did this. Great job. Reply skittlesLord888 November 18, 2017 God I still remember my first time walking into that place. Super immersed, felt like I was actually surviving the apocalypse. Slip in through the basement. Hear the stomping and start clearing the place room by room. I have no idea what to expect but I’m taking it slow as shit. The body falls through the floor and I almost jump out of my seat. To this point I had no idea what i was going to fight when I go upstairs. Finally after 5 minutes of clearing the basement step by step. I walk upstairs. Take a corner way too fast and was surprised to see the place empty. I turn around and panic hit vats because I knew something was there. Literally less than a foot away from me is this massive fucking deathclaw diving at my face. I took a breath. Unvats. And died instantly. 10/10 wish I could experience again. Reply Bluberus_Anus November 18, 2017 So the lone wanderer is Clint Eastwood? Reply MiguelJ0727 November 18, 2017 Dude I remember that place like yesterday just spamming my stealth camp trying not to get caught. It scared the shit out of me all the time the Deathclaw was near Reply hvadfanden November 18, 2017 It’s interesting how in a single game Bethesda can both fuck up the introduction of a great enemy, and make a quest that would be the perfect way to introduce it to the player. Reply Refloni November 18, 2017 I was kind disappointed that it was just a deathclaw, with all the build-up Reply Giddeshan November 18, 2017 I grew up about 5 minutes away from the actual Witch museum. When I first got FO4 I found out that Salem was a place you could go so I of course made a bee line for it. Coming down the road I spotted the distinctive church like facade and nearly shat myself. I giggled with glee and hometown pride as I crept in and ,to my dismay, promptly got my shit rocked. Worth it though. Reply czarjake161 November 18, 2017 Please make more of these. It’s really amazing. Reply Epic_Dragon12 November 18, 2017 And then the deathclaw pops out and you crap yourself… Reply footcrate November 18, 2017 This legitimately terrifies me. Reply postthereddit November 18, 2017 Hold on to your butts. Reply MagikBiscuit November 18, 2017 Ahhh one of the few proper horror moments in fallout. I thought I was just taking a lovely stroll learning about the lore history and turn this lovely cornFUCKONGHELLINCHRISTBASTARDSHITTINGTHINGFUCKMYHEART! Reply Th3MostWantd November 18, 2017 My favourite location, since I start I aim for that building, then take the egg, leave the egg on the nest, kill the mom take the egg and sell it hahaha Reply ThingNasty November 18, 2017 fantastic concept art, man! ugh i strive to be this good someday Reply akalliss November 18, 2017 Boss. Reply damondono November 18, 2017 i call bullshit if you got somewhere that far you would already have some decent gun, also wheres Dogmeats funny googles and bandana Reply ultramediumrare November 18, 2017 What’s with all the fallout stuff recently Reply hormag November 18, 2017 i mean it’s just a beautiful piece of art Reply TheGhosTz November 18, 2017 Oh man that the perfect image, I remember planting shit ton of mines , all the types I had in my ammo chest + using the atomic bomb launcher , and he still survived that and killed me in 2 hits … I managed to kill him after using piper as beatstick Reply mrsoden2 November 18, 2017 One of my favorite locations in the game great artwork to match Reply darthmeister November 18, 2017 I never went it there, too chicken. Reply Roll_Fizzlebeef0451 November 18, 2017 Oh dogmeat, screwing over the Sole Survivor in a painting as you do in the actual game. Reply Bronx11 November 18, 2017 Hmm, don’t recall having this same kind of fear. Had an automatic rifle that had a 20% chance to cripple the target. Yeah……he didn’t stand a chance. Nothing did. I properly named the rifle “”Arrow to the Knee” and put that OP mother fkn rifle away for breaking the game. G damn rifle. Not even god should have that kind of firepower. Reply ChaoticMofoz November 18, 2017 “Ayyyy a museum! Probably some good stuff inside, hoo boy.” *Jumpscared by Deathclaw moments later* “Ah. This is unfortunate.” Reply IAmARobotTrustMe November 18, 2017 Honestly that should’ve been the first introduction of deathclaws, it was so creepy it was amazing. Reply eboli72 November 18, 2017 I blasted that deathclaw’s skull open with the combat shotgun. Next thing I know it’s still alive writhing around with no head. I never knew that was possible! I watched it for probably 5 min, recorded it, then put it out of it misery. Reply mood_irl November 18, 2017 I think Bethesda knew that people hoard all their powerful shit without using it so they try to scare it out of you with this shit haha Reply Mcc4rthy November 18, 2017 Awesome, this looks like the art from the first game. Reply trustme_imamerican November 18, 2017 Amazing. Truly amazing Reply cain261 November 18, 2017 I’ve never played Fallout 4, but I’ll be getting it on VR and you guys have me terrified of going to museums now Reply TheMGray November 18, 2017 Fantastic work Reply Rivnatzille November 18, 2017 WOW! Reply private_blue November 18, 2017 omg the perspective is messed up and that deathclaw has tiny ^^tiny little right arm and i cant stop laughing! it’s like he’s half t-rex but only on one side. Reply LiquidSwords89 November 18, 2017 What’s the place with the massive fucking Mirelurk that pops up out of the ground? That place scared the shit out of me Reply cantpissoffmods November 18, 2017 Good old Dogmeat. That Death claw doesnt stand a chance. Reply Lokis_PC November 18, 2017 Sorry for being retarded but was this digtaly done? Reply Beepboopvrrr November 18, 2017 How to beat Fallout 4 easy: get 10mm pistol with 20% crippling chance. Aim for legs and pretty much everything will limp towards you as you switch through your inventory finding what melee weapon you want to beat it to death with. Works wonders on Deathclaws and other monsters…Not so much super mutants with mininukes Reply hochoa94 November 18, 2017 Omg this was so fucking awesome. I went in casually not expecting to get my ass handed to me Reply Johnnyallstar November 18, 2017 This was one of the better side quests in F4. Really a well done encounter. Reply arsonbunny November 18, 2017 Ah I remember walking into this at level 8. Reply thousande November 18, 2017 Nice! The deathclaw in the basement of Kendall Hospital is another story Reply KSPMUN November 18, 2017 Really wish that there was more to do in that area. Reply HomeHeatingTips November 18, 2017 Who brings their fucking dog into these buildings? Little fucker alerts the enemies when all I want to do is sneak and ambush. Reply LifeLocks November 18, 2017 I gave curie a mirv big boy and ran around until it was dead (vanilla survival) Reply redditname4455 November 18, 2017 Contrary to popular opinion here but I was completely underwhelmed by this location (and the game as a whole). The NPCs around it we’re hyping it up like the place was haunted. You get inside, very atmospheric with the body that drops down. I thought it would be some cool, unique ghost entity or some radioactive specter…just something…interesting for a good payoff. Instead I get a Deathclaw. An ordinary Deathclaw that you find in other parts of the game. Yawn. Reply Church131313_ November 18, 2017 I kinda wish I came here as a lower level. It would’ve been more terrifying if it didn’t die from 5 seconds of being exposed to a Gatling laser. Reply the_DashingPickle November 19, 2017 Little does the deathclaw know, she’s about to be a trophy. Reply DrKophie November 19, 2017 I played this on Xbox when it first came out, beat it and never picked it up again. I am finding myself wanting to play this again (on PC) but I see so many people talking down about it due to DLC/micros-transactions. Should I just go ahead and play or is there a big problem I should know about? Reply tristamus November 19, 2017 God damn that was so dope.
