Brilliant Reply AwefulWaffle December 14, 2017 Having not seen Home Alone in a long, long time, it’s amazing to me just how gruesome some of these traps have become to adult me. Reply Rude1231 December 14, 2017 The nurse of 23 years: “I don’t know what the treatment is for a ruptured nut-sack.” So glad she didn’t call it a scrotum ? One thing all ER staff know well is methmouth. Ugh Reply unusdeusexnox December 14, 2017 Another video on the same subject, but I prefer this ones format and editing. Reply spydercrystal December 14, 2017 This movie made my 6-7 year old brain acknowledge the implications of death for the first time. I never had nightmares, but there were two things I saw as a kid that would just pop up in my mind’s eye and really fucked with me. One was the outline of the skeleton when he got zapped, I think I might have been afraid of electronics for a while… I don’t remember how it started, but I remember crying in my parents’ kitchen about electrocution and how I was afraid to die. My dad crouched down to get on my level and, like the engineer he is, explained that I was only 6-7 and had plenty of life left, that electrocution doesn’t look like that and it was unlikely to happen to me. Somehow understanding that I wasn’t going to see the outline of my skeleton even if I were to get electrocuted helped me calm down. I have never been electrocuted, in case anyone thought this is where my comment was going. The other thing that fucked me up was I was watching a magic show on TV around the same age (I loved watching illusionists) and there was one where a guy got the tip of his tongue cut off, blood bubbling up and everything. I don’t remember if I saw the end of the trick, if it got “reattached” or if I had realized yet that “magic” wasn’t real, but even after I did that stayed with me for a while. Reply Gary_l_collins December 14, 2017 I do not know what made me cringe more, “Scrotum Rupture” or “Corneal Burn”. Reply Gwirk December 14, 2017 Doctors might be slightly biased towards heavy injuries. They don’t see all the people that fall the stairs and happens to be fine. Reply johnn48 December 14, 2017 Home Alone the Wile E Coyote and Roadrunner movie for adults. Reply chumppi December 14, 2017 That one guy says sliding stairs on your butt would damage you so much that you wouldn’t stand up from that but then when and old 80s iron drops on your forehead you’ll walk away no problem? Reply dotmadhack December 14, 2017 The guy is the only one that understands the fun of the movie. All the women were like “This is the worst thing”. Reply CaverZ December 14, 2017 These doctors and nurses should do more of these based on FailArmy videos and how badly people get hurt in the real world. My bicycle’s seatpost bolt broke about 10 weeks ago. The seat fell off into the rear tire jamming the tire, I skidded out of control at 15mph, my left foot hit the pavement, took all of my weight, folded over, and ripped most of the midfoot tendons and resulted in 5 bone fractures. $20,000 later and not being able to walk since then, and probably won’t be able to walk for another 2 months, and being out of work for 2 months…you never see any of the after effects of the mishaps people suffer in the real world, let alone the ‘hold my beer’ idiots. But I bet my wreck would have looked kind of funny in a Fail montage, showing my bike skidding out of control and me crashing to the ground moaning like Peter Griffin. Reply lemurstep December 15, 2017 I couldn’t watch these movies when I was a kid for this reason. Shit is gruesome yo Reply Add Comment Cancel reply Notify me of follow-up comments by email.
