I see people worrying a lot about what they don’t have instead of concentrating on what they have, and that kills the whole purpose.
It’s all about making use of the resources and skills you have, and moving ahead.
There’s no point of sitting, and stalling your life while sulking about what you don’t have.
You don’t have a good DSLR camera? I still sell those pictures that I clicked from low end point and shoot cameras.
You fear about not finding what you want to do? I spent evenings singing in a restaurant, getting 100 Rs for every song request, which paid for two meals a day.
You think you’re not good enough at writing? My first attempt at writing a novel has been rejected by 40 different publications.
You’re scared of making a sacrifice? I spent two years living in a slum without even seeing my mother even once, or having a single friend to spend time with.
You are not ready to take a step towards your dreams?
I failed at most of my first attempts, so bad once that I didn’t even have enough money to leave Mcleodganj, and so just ended up staying here.
Only for it to eventually work out, and that dream which once failed gave rise to another one that is now a startup.
And so honestly speaking this is how you move forward and walk towards your dreams despite everything, as you realise that you’re happier doing things you love even while struggling instead of earning enough money while doing things you just can’t relate to.
